I did it—I’m officially a Qualified Rapid Tapping Pro Instructor, trained by what Vogue described the Tapping Queen, Poppy Delbridge.
This feels like such a full-circle moment because tapping was never just a tool for me. It was a lifeline. It’s actually the reason Rise & Vibe exists today.
On Instagram I have been sharing about Tapping this week and how I ended up running a business that involves this pioneering and can seem at first slightly woo woo method.
So I want to tell it here too.
The year everything changed
In my early 30s, everything came crashing down.
My dad passed away.
I went through a divorce.
I was trying to keep it all together in a job I loved but one that drained me dry.
Then my body started to unravel. I felt exhausted, foggy, anxious and would have these cycles where my face would swell with water retention (last thing you need when you are newly single). Underneath it all I knew something was wrong but no one could explain it. I saw three different specialists until finally, one gave me an answer:
My body had gone into what could only be described as a menopausal state. Even now I can smell and picture the dr’s office when he told me. It was surreal and back then no one was talking about Menopause and no one knew then that I would come back from it.
And while that diagnosis took years, the symptoms showed up all at once.
Hot flushes on the tube, awake at 3am, anxiety, depression the list goes on.
So I did what most high functioning women do…
I kept going.
I ate less, did more cardio, drank more.
I threw on lipstick.
I powered through.
Looking back, that was exactly the opposite of what my body needed - especially the part on eating, drinking and cardio. That was a messy moment in time.
I didn’t need to keep pushing. I needed someone to help me come up with strategies to live in this new body and mind and listen to me. That is the foundation of Rise and Vibe, so no one feels alone and has real support.
Because now, as I enter perimenopause this time, I’m ready. I’m walking into it with knowledge and an abundance of self love,
The missing piece
During that chapter, I tried everything. Talk therapy certainly helped but I still felt anxious in my body. It wasn’t in my head, it was in my body.
That’s when I discovered tapping. A somatic, science-backed practice that helped me feel like me again. I began releasing the pressure in my chest one tap at a time.
The fog lifted.
My thoughts stopped spiraling.
And, slowly, I started to believe in myself again.
Looking back it makes sense to work with the body too, as the mind and body are both connected.
From healing to helping
Fast forward to now and I’m 44, and I’ve built a coaching business Rise and Vibe around this powerful technique. As a certified Menopause Coaching Specialist and EFT an NLP practitioner, I now help other women in their 40s navigate perimenopause with doable strategies and get their confidence back.
My community, The Tapping Reset, meets twice a month online for live guided sessions, helping women regulate their stress response and reset their nervous system.
With Rapid Tapping, I’m bringing in a new energy—faster, future-focused, high-vibe healing that helps you shift in minutes, not months.
EFT is the thread that ties it all together, because when your nervous system feels safe… your life gets to change. You are able to take action and tap into new possibilities.
